Saurabh Luthra has 20 years of experience in the IT & Telco Industry. He has grown along the way, starting from a software programmer to Sales Head. During the journey he has worked as a team player and leader as well. His belief in team play as the key to success has helped him achieve goals.
At present he is AVP Sales at 5BARz India (5BARz Inc) which is in the offering Wifi & Smart Hub (IoT enabled) services to Indian consumers through ISP partners.
In the past, Saurabh has served 9 years with Times Internet Ltd part of TOI Group, India's largest media group. At Times he had lead to the creation one of India’s first mobile coupon product “Active Deals” and been able to sell that successfully across mobile operators.
In his last profile he was head Market Development for “Alive” , an augmented reality platform by the Times Group. He has been able to get many clients on board and benefit from this experience. Along with this he has had responsibilities of Enterprise Head, offering customised campaign solutions to clients.
Prior to TIL, he has served as Software Program manager at Kyocera Wireless for India and has led Kyocera mobile phones acceptance to CDMA mobile operators of TATA Teleservices and Reliance Telecom network.
He has also worked as IT Mobile-VAS Head at Idea Cellular, launching GPRS services for the first time in Delhi.
Overseas he has worked for R Systems Inc (USA), servicing their clients in Singapore and the US on mobile technologies as content repurposing .
His team’s mobile innovations have led to win the Golden Peacock award and the most innovative mobile product award at GSM Summit in the past.
Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Karnatak Unversity and PGC in Business Management from Xavier School of Management (XLRI)
