I hasve done BE (Electronics and Communications) and Mtech with Distinction in Satellite communications from Center for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and Pacific, Affiliated to United Nations.
I have nearly 20 years experience at Defence Research Laboratory where I was involved in system design and development, and productionization of many systems including Communications controller for Meteor Burst channels; Satellite terminals and Millimeter wave satellite simulator; and Monopulse Tracking and Control System to automatically track tactical UAV.
As member of Organization Think Tank, for nearly five years, I analyzed future threats, feasibility and technology analysis on topics like Hardware ASIC Security, Foliage penetrating Radar (FPR), Radiation Belt Remediation for LEO space asset protection, Fused Acousto / Seismic sensor network, Foliage Penetrating LIDAR and Anti-UAV High Power Microwave (HPM) Directed Energy Weapon (DEW).
I have performed technical coordination with many think-tanks and labs to evolve long term geo-political scenarios, emerging threats, military capabilities requirements and developed technology roadmaps.
I have also directed many studies including ‘Analysis of AWACS effectiveness in operational scenarios,’ Space Situational Awareness for Space Security’ and ‘Opportunities and Challenges of Military Internet of things.’ proposed research program on Quantum Cryptology based secured Military Networks.
Presently I am working as director in the organization coordinated with laboratories for policy development and implementation.
