During over 20yrs employment history I've been working both for commercial and education institutions on many software, hardware, Research and Development and conceptual projects. Now I'm focused on science and applied research, working with scientists and students at Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland, occupying Assistant Professor (adjunct) job in ZMITAC Division of the Automation Control, Electronics and Computer Science Department.

I also lead occasionally highly-innovative projects in Upper Silesian Ethnographic park introducing Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and mobile applications in museums UX.

The educational and research experience cover various areas including: Internet of Things, neural networks, evolutionary computation, fuzzy sets, fuzzy inference systems, automata control, robotics, digital systems algebra, embedded systems, general software engineering and database design.

I also work in the Virtual Flying Laboratory, giving lectures on GIS systems (scenery simulation oriented), flight simulators and UAV. Since November 2017, I'm certified UAV operator (issued by Civil Aviation Office).

By the above, I voluntarily administer our divisions' server farm, with heterogeneous Windows-Linux environment - mostly for joy.

Starting 1st December 2016 I lead an international team of researchers and educators, implementing an Erasmus+ funded project (2016-1-PL01-KA203-026471) IOT-OPEN.EU: Innovative Open Education on IoT: improving higher education for European digital global competitiveness.

The project is expected to provide high quality education materials for those, willing to start, develop and enhance their knowledge on IoT on basic level as well as on the professional one.
