Pablo Olivera Brizzio is a Senior Innovator, Technology Generalist and a Serial Inventor at heart, with 25 years of international experience in High Tech Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, GE and UTC amongst others.
He has a background in Electronics Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, Fellow member of the Charter Management Institute UK and holds 4 certifications in RFID from US and UK.
He is the author of several US and international granted patents on electronic gadgets and in 2015 he was recognized by the media in Uruguay to be the inventor of the first electric auto lacing shoes in 1998, inspired by the film “Back to the Future”.
Early on in his career he joined IBM, which would profoundly influence his future professional development at other leading organizations. Throughout his career employers would consistently approach Pablo for non-standard and out of the ordinary projects that could not be handled by regular departments or roles; something he was secretly proud off and deeply enjoyed. For the most part of his career he has been leading technical/engineering departments and managing pioneer innovation projects across diverse fields such as:
