There has been an explosion of Internet of Things solutions for retailers in the last few years. Companies have leveraged IoT to optimize every aspect of business, including supply chain, inventory, visual merchandising and, of course, the customer experience.

“There has been a lot of original thinking around new technologies, and businesses are looking at all the ways IoT can potentially shape the business,” said Ronnie Battista, who teaches business courses within Rutgers University’s new program, “Mini-MBA: Supply Chain in a Digitized Network.”
