Manon den Dunnen
Manon specializes on the digital transformation of society. She is fascinated by the way digitization facilitates new concepts like the sharing economy, a more efficient use of resources, transparency (blockchain), healthcare (biotech, IoT) and local communities. Working as a specialist in this field for the Dutch National Police she analyses the impact of digitization on society. Not only to translate it into consequences for the role and work of the police, but also signal the adverse side effects for privacy, security and the constitution. To create more awareness she organises conferences, is a regular speaker, workshop host, writer and creator of a Microlearning on IoT.
In addition to her work she is actively involved in sharing knowledge on and offering experience in new technology as a co-organiser of the IoT Sensemakers community and initiator of the Permanent Future Lab in Amsterdam.
