Golam Kibrea

Mr. Golam is a dreamer, futurist, startup mentor and a very young researcher in IoT from country like Bangladesh. Academically he is a business graduate and professionally involved with more than dozens of global platforms based in different continents. Earlier he worked for numbers of global technology vendors like Samsung, LG and Epson with different management capacities. In 2015, Golam served the Global Youth Entrepreneurs Summit (GYES) 2015 as the Vice-Chairman, Steering committee- which was the kind of first global event on entrepreneurship held in Bangladesh. During last half a decade, he has been recognized and awarded with several international recognitions by the different UN Agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Governments and Think Tank platforms in and outside the country.  He eventually served the UNEP CSO Forum 2014, UNESCO Experts Meeting 2014 and 11th International Dialogue on ICPD as a Special Rapporteur. Very recently, he has been recognized as the Startup Ecosystem Champion (SEC) by Digital World 2016 – an international summit on information and technology hosted by the Government, the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. At this moment, Golam is envisioned to organize the country’s first ever international summit on Internet of Tings (IoT) which will be considered as a key catalyst for the next-gen digital transformation in Bangladesh. At this very time, Mr. Golam is a Global Fellow at Center for Inclusive Governance (CIG), Co-Founder at Youth Alliance International (YAI), Regional President at Kairos Society- a global Startup community accelerator based in US; and one of the Ex-Global Youth Advisor at International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
