The EU-funded project "Animal and robot Societies Self-organise and Integrate by Social Interaction (ASSISIbf) is organising a summer school in Graz,Austria, from 21 to 31 August 2017. The participants will have the possibility to learn about the latest research on communication between bio (animal) and artificial (robot) systems.
The main goal of the EU-funded FoCAS FET-Proactive ASSISIbf project is to establish a robotic society that is able to develop communication channels with both honeybees or with fish swarms.
The summer school will include examples from hybrid systems composed of robots interacting with bees, fish and plants. It will consist of four main parts: preparation, lectures, practicals, and a reporting for students who would like to submit the result of their practical work for evaluation.
