Call for Workshops 10th International Conference on the Internet of Things (IoT 2020)
October 6 - 9, 2020
Malmö University, Malmö (Sweden)
Driven by connected low-cost sensing and actuation as well as the large range of scientifically and economically relevant application scenarios that they enable, the Internet of Things has become a central research area with a broad reach across many fields in information technology and adjacent domains. Particular challenges include the understanding of IoT application demands and novel network traffic types, low-latency and reliable communication, and integrating and mediating Things within intelligent systems, where IoT technologies are potential catalysts. The *International Conference on Internet of Things (IoT)* has become the premier gathering place where visionary, ground-breaking research in the IoT field meets leading industry experts. Since its beginnings in the year 2008, IoT has been backed by strong support from leading academic institutions as well as industry and we are happy to announce its 10th iteration that will take place from October 6-9 2020 in Malmö, Sweden.
The main objective of the IoT 2020 workshops is to provide additional venues for discussing novel ideas and to stimulate and facilitate active exchange, interaction, and comparison of approaches, methods and ideas related to different IoT areas. Our goal is to have a balanced workshop program which comprises workshop formats of different types and a combination of emerging and established topics. The workshops should provide an informal and vibrant forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share their research results and practical experiences.
