Rick Bouter

Rick Bouter, BSc (Economics),is a media and technology enthusiast which is passionate about the Internet of Things. Rick wrote his final thesis at ViNT (Vision Inspiration Navigation Trends) the Sogeti trend lab. His thesis with the title “A Data Driven Future”, and subtitle “Internet of Things: From (sick)care to health(care)”, is a result of a 4 month during study on the Internet of Things, the impact on business and in special on healthcare. His research is based on interviews including, founder of the definition Internet of Things, Kevin Ashton, Cisco’s Chief Futurist and Technologist Dave Evans, Founder of the Internet of Things Council Rob Kranenburg, Director Radboud REshape & Innovation Center at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center, Lucien Engelen, ThingWorx CTO and former Vice President SAP research Rick Bullotta and Michael Koster who is the founder of the IoT toolkit and building an open source IoT currently.
