Cristiano Storni
A semiologist by training he accidentally fell in networked devices and online services 25 years ago and never left this playground. From the French Minitel in the 80’s, to the very first Internet company in France (FranceNet) in the 90’s, to Ozone the community based Wi-Fi rooftop mesh network of Paris, rafi created a dozen companies. In 2003 he founded Violet, maker of the Nabaztag rabbit and the Mir:ror. Since September 2009, with sen.se he continues his exploration of connected objects and environments and how they can bring meaning and fun to consumers and organizations.
Tijmen Wisman is privacy-lawyer, self declared filosopher and mc. For the past few years he worked at ECP-EPN (formerly known as ECP.NL) and the RFID Platform the Netherlands. Currently he’s working as a freelance privacy consultant and publishes on issues relating technology being abused to reduce freedom.
Liesbeth Huybrechts is doing a Phd research in Cultural Studies on the use of new media as critical things in participatory design and art projects. She is researcher and teacher in higher art education at the Media & Design Academy in Genk. Liesbeth is active as editor of the e-culture blog of the Flemish Government. She is part of a research group Interface-Our-Space, focusing on the role of new media in an artistic and museal context.
