Liu Yongmou is an associate professor at School of Philosophy, Remin University of China, Beijing, PRC, a part-time advanced researcher Food Safety Research Base of Jiangsu Province, Wuxi, PRC and a visiting scholar at Department of History of Science, Harvard University, Boston, USA. He is also the director & secretary-general of Division Committee Youth Researchers of Society for Natural Dialectics of China, the director & secretary-general of Science, Technology and Public Policy Committee for Natural Dialectics of China, the director of Society for Natural Dialectics of Beijing. His work focuses on philosophy of science, issues in Science, Technology and Society (STS), Science, Technology and Public Policy (STPP). He has published 12 books and over 40 papers, and won first award of Essay Competition of Military Industry Culture Construction of National Defense Science and Technology Industry Council (2006), National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award (2007), second award of National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award (2008).
