interface ecology lab approach for IoT
Interface ecology lab develop a design vision and methodologies valuable for IoT evolution. This approach models and develops the interface as a multidimensional border zone between people, activities, codes, components, and systems. Such border zones are characterized by the relationships that they enable and prohibit. The development of hybrid forms can be catalyzed or prevented. The need to understand and resolve differences can function as a barrier, or as a transformative mechanism that drives innovation. Theory and practice are connected, instead of separated, as in studies approaches (e.g. performance studies, cinema studies, cultural anthropology). They develop a metadisicplinary theoretical foundation, and apply it in the process of our research.
