Arrayent announces a Wi-Fi version of the DevKit.

Arrayent, Inc., which sells an end-to-end communication system that enables product companies to connect their products to Internet services at low cost and high reliability, announced today: " the availability of its Internet-Connect Tool Kit™ for Embedded Wi-Fi® applications. The Arrayent Tool Kit enables embedded system designers using Microchip Technology Inc.’s Wi-Fi modules to connect their Wi-Fi enabled products to web applications hosted in the “Internet cloud.”" “Microchip has architected our agency-certified Wi-Fi modules to enable the Internet connection of embedded microcontrollers to a Wi-Fi local area network,” said Tyler Smith, Microchip RF Products Division Marketing Manager. “Arrayent’s Internet-Connect Service complements our embedded Wi-Fi technology by enabling Wi-Fi connectivity and communication with Internet-connected devices outside the LAN.”

Erin Anzelmo

Erin Anzelmo presently lives in Brussels. She studied her master's degree in International Law (LL.M.) where her research focused the internet and international law. Erin has worked with a think-tank, the Global Trust Council (GTC), in Malmo, Sweden on eIdentification, consulting on human rights in the digital realm as well as issues of biometric data. Erin served as assistant to the Secretariat of the European eSkills Association (EeSA) in Brussels, as well as volunteering with ISOC to form the ISOC Rwanda Chapter. She is published in The Brussels Journal of International Relations on Cyberspace and International Law. Presently, she is working on matters involving the Internet of Things ....and is nutty for privacy.

Jonah Brucker-Cohen

Jonah Brucker-Cohen is a researcher, artist, and Ph.D. candidate as an HEA MMRP (Multimedia Research Programme) fellow in the Disruptive Design Team of the Networking and Telecommunications Research Group (NTRG), Trinity College Dublin. He is an adjunct assistant professor of communications at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). He worked as an R&D OpenLab Fellow at Eyebeam in NYC from 2006/7. From 2001-4 he was a Research Fellow in the Human Connectedness Group at Media Lab Europe. He received his Masters from ITP in 1999 and was an Interval Research Fellow from 1999-2001. His work and thesis focuses on the theme of "Deconstructing Networks" which includes projects that attempt to critically challenge and subvert accepted perceptions of network interaction and experience.
