The Jacksonville-based developer of radio-frequency technology for wireless applications provided shareholders with an overview of its recent litigation maneuvers as well as business strategies and market opportunities during a presentation in New York.
One of the areas ParkerVision is actively moving into, corporate leaders said, is the next generation of wireless, otherwise known as “The Internet of Things.” Embedding everyday physical objects, such as running shoes, with digital connectivity to database intelligence, opens up the possibility for said running shoes, say, to track mileage and caloric counts in real-time and independent of other channels.”
